MUSEI IN FESTA 2026
Below are the upcoming Musei in Festa days, with free admission to the Musei Civici of Venice for all residents of the 44 municipalities of the Metropolitan City of Venice and Mogliano Veneto.
Upcoming dates: Sunday, January 11; Sunday, February 8; Sunday, March 15; Thursday, April 16; Thursday, May 14; and Thursday, June 11, 2026.

It’s possibile to visit the Museum Correr after the closing time, sending a request at least 5 working days before the desired data, to verify the availability for an extraordinary opening of the museum.

ITINERARY OF THE ROYAL ROOMS, MUSEO CORRER
Visit the Royal Rooms inside the Correr Museum with a specialized guide, the residence of the three successive dynasties that ruled Venice after the fall of the Serenissima Republic: the House of Bonaparte, Hapsburg and, lastly, Savoy. The ticket includes the guided tour to the Royal Rooms and grants access, without a guide, to the Museum Correr, the National Archaeological Museum of Venice and the Monumental Rooms of the Marciana National Library.

Museum Pass
The Museum Pass is the cumulative ticket for the permanent collection of the Musei Civici of Venice currently open and for those connected (Clock Tower not included). This ticket is valid for 6 months and grants one single admission to each museum.

Exhibition installation in progress: sala delle Quattro Porte
We kindly inform visitors that from the 17th to the 25th of February an exhibition installation is in progress in the Sala delle Quattro Porte.

ROOM CLOSURE NOTICE
We inform our visitors that, starting from 29 October 2025, Room III (Canovian collection – Canova, the Empire, the Glory: creating the myth) will be closed to the public for maintenance work.

ARTWORK ON LOAN
We inform our visitors that Giovanni Bellini’s Dead Christ Supported by Two Angels is currently on loan to the exhibition Private Renaissance, held at the Diözesanmuseum in Freising (14 September 2025 – 11 January 2026).
Delay for Guided Tours
Visitors who have purchased guided tours are kindly requested to show up at the scheduled departure time. Showing up at the entrance with a delay of more than 15 minutes on the tour departure time will result in the exclusion from the guided tour.
CLOAKROOM AND LUGGAGE
It is not permitted to enter the museum area with suitcases, trolleys and bulky bags (luggage whose sum of the dimensions of the three sides exceed a total of 1 linear meter). Visitors with such luggage will not be allowed inside the museum. We therefore kindly request that any kind of bulky luggage may be deposited elsewhere before coming to the museum.
Medium-size bags and backpacks, umbrellas and any other objects that will not be judged suitable to enter the museum galleries by security staff must be left at the cloakroom. Storage is free of charge.
